Privacy Policy
Pack 214 takes the privacy of our scouts and families seriously. This page explains what information we collect through this website and how it’s used.
Registration Information
When you register online, your information is submitted directly to Scouting America and Mecklenburg County Council through their official registration system, not stored by Pack 214’s website. Their privacy practices are covered separately by Scouting America.
Email Newsletter
If you subscribe to Cubby Notes, your email address is stored with our email provider (Mailchimp) solely to send you our weekly newsletter. We don’t sell, rent, or share this list with anyone outside Pack 214 leadership. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any Cubby Notes email.
Contact Form
Messages submitted through our contact form are sent directly to Pack 214 leadership to respond to your question. We don’t use this information for any other purpose.
Photos
Pack 214 shares photos from den meetings, pack meetings, and events on our Facebook page and occasionally on this website, to celebrate our scouts and give prospective families a sense of pack life. Photo consent is collected as part of our annual registration and medical form. As a general practice, we avoid using a scout’s full name in photo captions. If you’d prefer your scout not appear in photos we share publicly, or you’d like a specific photo removed, let your den leader or the Committee Chair ([email protected]) know, and we’ll honor that request.
Questions
If you have any questions about how your family’s information is used, contact us anytime at [email protected].
