Uniforms and Scout Closet

Cub Scout uniforms show that a Scout is part of a team, and they show what each Scout has achieved, since Scouts wear the badges they’ve earned.

Class A: the official uniform, from the waist up

Scouting America calls this the field uniform. Pack 214 asks for:

• Uniform shirt for your Scout’s rank (see the table below)
• Rank cap, neckerchief, and neckerchief slide
• Patches on the shirt: council shoulder patch, World Crest emblem and ring, red Pack numerals (2, 1, 4), and your den number. Arrow of Light Scouts also wear blue shoulder loops.

From the waist down, any appropriate pants, shorts, or jeans are fine, with closed-toe shoes (no Crocs, flip-flops, or slides).

Class B: the Pack T-shirt

Scouting America calls this the activity uniform: a Pack 214 T-shirt with appropriate pants or shorts and closed-toe shoes. Every Scout gets a free Pack T-shirt with their first year’s dues, and extra T-shirts are available for a small fee.
