This week we’re opening sign up for both Webelos Adventure Camp, and Cub Scout Day Camp (see links below). Both camps are an opportunity for your Scout to get out and have some adventure over the summer.

Webelos Adventure Camp is HIGHLY recommended for all rising AOLs and fulfills several required adventures.

Hang back after announcements tonight and we’ll do a quick info session and Q&A for anyone interested in learning more about camp.

Webelos Adventure Camp (WAC)
July 12-16
We'll be celebrating the Nation's 250th birthday this summer at Camp Grimes!
For current Bears and Webelos – Webelos Adventure Camp is a 5-day/4-night overnight camp at Camp Grimes (near Nebo, NC) from Sunday July 12th – Thursday July 16th. This is an opportunity for Scouts to camp with the Pack on their own or an adventure for you to share with your Scout.
Costs: $250 per Scout; $125 per Adult and Den Chiefs

Summer Day Camp July 13-17
Open to all current Lions-Webelos

TIGERS: will be playing games in the den room. Each family should bring their favorite board or card game. Parents will need to be present since both Den leaders will be absent.

WOLVES: will be outside playing kickball. Please wear comfortable closed-toe shoes.

BEARS: are beginning the Whittling Adventure.

WEBELOS: will be launching model rockets at Francis Beatty Park. BRING SAFETY GLASSES. Meet in the parking lot in front of the baseball fields.”
