Scouting Kickoff 2026

Saturday, August 22, 2026 · 2:00–4:00 PM · Eagle’s Nest, Matthews United Methodist Church

Join us as we kick off the Pack 214 scouting year with a fun-filled celebration! Wear your swimsuit, bring a towel, and get ready to enjoy our water bounce house and ice cream. This is a great chance for new and returning families to meet the pack, connect with other scouts, and learn about the Pack 214 program.

Pack 214 welcomes both boys and girls from Kindergarten through 5th grade. No experience necessary — just come as you are.

Where: Eagle’s Nest, at the end of the MUMC parking lot, 801 South Trade Street, Matthews, NC 28105

What to bring: Swimsuit and a towel for the water bounce house. If you’d like to register on the spot, you’re welcome to — or just come learn more first.

Please note: ice cream will be served. Please be aware that ice cream and toppings may contain tree nuts — let us know if your family has any allergy concerns.
