Welcome, New Cub Scout Families!

Scouting is a whole new world for many children and their families.  We hope to make your adventure a positive one.

When you are ready to join, we will need a bit of paperwork from you:

1. Register Online and submit your application digitally and pay your registration fee.
   • Or Download an Application Here to turn in to the committee chair along with your registration fee.
2. Pay your pack dues.
   • These can be paid to the pack treasurer at your next meeting via
     Cash, Check (Made out to Meck Co Council – Pack 214), or Zelle.
3. Complete the Parent Information and Volunteer Form
4. Annual Scouting America Medical Form (Part A & B only for Cub Scouts)
   • No doctor signature required!
   • Please make sure to include month and year for all vaccinations.
5. Safe Guarding Youth Training is required for any adult participating in scouting, including attending overnight camp outs.
6. Turn in your completed information packet to the membership coordinator or committee chair and receive your pack t-shirt.
7. Get your Uniform Ready!
   • Check out our uniform guide and feel free to check out our Scout Closet with gently used scout uniforms.
   • Visit the Scout Shop in downtown Charlotte to pick up a uniform and handbook for your son or daughter. Don’t worry, the staff at the Scout Shop know what you need to get to be a member of Pack 214, and can get everything sewn on for you!

Have additional questions? Each week a member of the Pack 214 Committee will be at the desk in the hallway at church to help you out.
