Den Leader Notes

Lions

Tigers

Wolves
Next week the wolves will begin working on “paws on the path”. Over several weeks, we will get comfortable with using maps, learn about navigational tools such as a compass, and build our own custom walking staves. We will eventually map out a custom hiking route nearby and take an adventure to practice our skills.  If any scout families have any old hiking or street maps lying around the house, please bring to the meeting.

Bears
The Bears will need to have their pocket knife by next week (10/18), when we will meet at a pumpkin patch to pick a gourd to safely carve. Parents are required to stay for the whole meeting for knife safety (Both 10/18 and 10/25).  10/25 we will carve a bar of soap.  11/1 will be our fist Den awards meeting to celebrate everyone's hard work!

Web 1s
For the next den meeting, the Webs will need to bring their completed 30 day exercise plan sheets.
