CUBMASTER NOTES

Den Meetings this Tuesday. We will meet inside the MUMC Commons at 6:30pm.

Bring any filled Jared Boxes back this week if you have them ready. They are due next week!

A quick reminder about our behavior policy: Please ensure that your child
upholds respectful conduct during scouting events and meetings. Familiarize
yourself with the full policy to support a positive scouting experience for
all – Click Here!

THE JARED PROJECT

The Jared Project are small boxes filled with toys for kids in the hospital.

We distributed 50 boxes to our scout families during the last meeting. Thank you to all who took a box. If you would like to participate and did not pick up a box, you just have to purchase a shoe-box sized plastic container and fill with toys (you can find just right container at the Dollar Tree). Click HERE for more details and instructions.

Bring your filled box back at the December 5th meeting and the Pack will take it to an area hospital.

These boxes will bring joy to a lot of local kids.

REMEMBER: please return the FILLED boxes by December 5th.

Thank You!

Den Leader Notes

Lions

Lions are going to be learning about being what it means to be good citizens, and completing a service project by making holiday cards for our troops.

Tigers

Tigers are working on the “Games Tigers Play” Adventure and will be playing team building games.

Wolves

Wolves will continue work on the Duty to Country adventure and begin a service project.

Bears

Bears will spend next two weeks working on Bear Claws activity. We will learn knife safety and earn our whittling chips.  Please bring carving knives suggested for purchase in earlier Den email from last week. Parents must stay with Bears each of the next two meetings given that scouts will be working with knives. Parents please stress the importance of safety and that knives are not toys in advance of the meeting to help set the tone and expectations.

Web 1s

The Weblos will be completing the “First Responder” adventure with a review of treating for Shock and helping Choking victims. We will also be memorizing “The Outdoor Code” and “Leave No Trace Principles” for the “Weblos Walkabout” adventure. Finally, we will be planning our night hike for 12/5 to Stumptown Park, with a planned brief stop by the Fire Station to show our gratitude.

AOLs

The AOL will be working Duty to God and hopefully finishing up the Build a Better World achievement.
