Den Meetings this Tuesday. We will meet inside the MUMC Commons at 6:30pm.

Bring any filled Jared Boxes back this week if you have them ready. We will have more boxes available so pick up a box or two!

AOLs – Troop 39 meeting at 6:00 pm Tuesday night inside the Eagle's Nest (before our 6:30 Den Meeting). See below for more information.

MORE BOXES AVAILABLE:
THE JARED PROJECT

The Jared Project are small boxes filled with toys for kids in the hospital.

We will have another 25 boxes to distribute Tuesday evening. Our new deadline is December 12th but please bring in any filled boxes this week if you have them ready. We have partnered with two area hospitals and can delivery the toys this week and next week.

These boxes will bring joy to a lot of local kids.

TROOP 39 MEETING AT 6 PM

There will be an AOL parent/scout meeting in the Eagle’s Nest before this Tuesday night’s meeting at 6pm. This meeting will discuss the upcoming Troop/Pack overnight lock-out in January and answer and questions you may have.  

Please be aware that there will be Troop 39 meetings more frequently as the transition to Troop 39 approaches.   If you will be transitioning to another Troop in March please let Ms. Laura know so that she can have the correct representative reach out.

SCOUTING AT THE SCHIELE MUSEUM

Pack 214 has some exciting news to share. We will be participating in a Scouting After Hours event at the Schiele Museum on Friday evening, February 16, 2024.

More information and a Sign Up Genius will be coming out in January but mark your calendars now.

Returning Scouts – Please complete each step below.

  1. We kindly request all families participating in Pack 214 complete this registration and information update.
    Your updated information will enable us to share important updates, event notifications, and news effectively, guaranteeing you stay well-informed about all the exciting activities within Pack 214. Click HERE!
  2. Yearly Medical Form
  3. Is your Youth Protection Training expiring? Please check and complete the training if needed. The completed certificate should be emailed to [email protected].
  4. $50.00 yearly dues. Cash, check or Zelle payments accepted. Checks should be made out to PACK 214

All New Scouts – Please complete each step below. 

  1. Register Online HERE Or you can also complete and turn in a paper form.
  2. Yearly Medical Forms must be completed for each scout and any adult participating. 
  3. Youth Protection Training is required for any adult participating in scouting. The completed certificate should be emailed to [email protected].

Den Leader Notes

Lions

Lions will be learning what to do in an emergency.  We will also be teaching and playing our favorite games, please bring a card or board game to play.

Tigers

Tigers are finishing up Games Tigers Play and starting the Tiger Bites adventures. Please bring a nutritious snack to share and be prepared to tell why you chose it.

Wolves

Wolves will complete their Duty to Country adventure with our service project.  Parents – please consider bringing a holiday gift for our adopted Angel Tree family with a 13 year old girl and 11 year old boy. 

Bears

Bears will continue working on whittling chip and bear claws adventure. Please bring your knives from last week. We will clean and sharpen our knives and continue to learn about knife safety. All bears must have a parent present for this week’s meeting. 

Web 1s

The Weblos are going on a Walk-a-bout to the Matthews Holiday lights at Stumptown Park. We are going to stop by the Matthews Fire Department to spread some holiday cheer. 

AOLs
The AOL den will be working on planning a couple hikes for early next year and finishing up the Build a Better World adventure.  Scouts should bring their completed workbooks (both Build a Better World and Duty to God) and activity planning sheet.
