BIKE RODEO

Pack 214 Parents –

We will be hosting a Council-wide Bike Rodeo at Matthews United Methodist Church on August 19th from 9:30a to noon.

The event is for Cub-age scouts and is open to the public; as well as, all cub scouts and their friends. We will be setting up two courses (novice and intermediate) and have bike maintenance demos provided by Ultimate Bicycle and bike safety overviews provided by Officer Holmes from Matthews PD. We are also hoping to have a (for purchase) sweet treat option.

We are hoping many of you will volunteer to help with the event (we are also recruiting help from Troop 39 and 139 as well as other local packs). Below is a sign-up genius for various volunteer roles.

Please consider helping out if you are available. This has the potential to be a very fun event that could help us grow our Pack.

Yours in Scouting – Mike Hillesheim (720-570-6210)

MATTHEWS ALIVE VOLUNTEERS

One of our big fundraising opportunities for our pack comes from the proceeds of the Matthews Alive Festival that takes place over Labor Day Weekend. We will be needing adult volunteers for 2-hour shifts over the course of the festival. Please plan on helping out for at least one slot that weekend. Sign Up Genius coming out soon.

Thank You!

OVERNIGHT WITH THE KNIGHTS

PARENT/GUARDIAN SURVEY

We are gathering feedback for our 2023/2024 Scout year.

Please take a few minutes to fill out our survey: CLICK HERE.

Thank you!

YOUTH PROTECTION TRAINING

As many of you know, Youth Protection Training is REQUIRED in order for any adult to participate in any scouting event. The importance of ALL ADULTS taking this course cannot be stressed enough.

If you have already completed your training, please either email a copy of your certificate or bring in a copy so that the pack can have it on file. Each certification is good for 2 years. We are also keeping track of expiration dates so that we can remind you when you need to retake the training.

ADULTS will not be allowed to attend any scouting events if they do not have a YPT certificate on file with the pack.

Thank You!
