Volunteer at Matthews Alive!

Shifts available Labor Day Weekend

We are asking each family to volunteer for

at least one shift during the event.

Join Pack 214 as we gear up for an incredible event

Matthews Alive in downtown Matthews.

This is not just any event; it’s a fantastic chance for us to come together and generate much-needed funds to support the pack this coming year. However, we can’t do it alone and that’s where you come in!

We still need a number of volunteers to take the reins and oversee the Putt-Putt game during the carnival.

Your participation plays a crucial role in making our biggest fundraiser a success.

The event spans over four eventful days, from Friday through Monday, giving you the flexibility to choose from a number of two-hour shifts. By contributing your time and energy during these shifts, you’ll be helping us create a memorable experience for attendees while also raising money for our pack.

It’s important to note that due to the nature of the event and the responsibilities involved, only adults are able to volunteer at this time.

We need you to be a part of our volunteer team –

your involvement can truly make a world of difference.

The Matthews Alive Festival has become a cornerstone of the community, channeling its efforts toward supporting non-profit organizations in the area. Following the festival, the net proceeds earned are donated to these organizations, allowing them to provide essential services that enhance the quality of life in our region. Over the past three decades, Matthews Alive has donated more than $2,000,000 to organizations in the greater Matthews area.

Drawing over 125,000 attendees annually, the Matthews Alive Festival showcases a diverse array of attractions, including over 160 regional artisans, games and amusements, the Kids Connection with an entertainment stage, a wide variety of vendors, and the Southeast’s largest Labor Day Parade, among many other exciting features. The festival’s success is a testament to the dedication and support of the twenty-plus nonprofit organizations that invest their time and effort in making the event a resounding success.
