Jared Boxes Winter Volunteer Opportunity

Return it by December 10th!!!

A Jared Box is a plastic, shoebox-sized container filled with small gifts, toys, games, crayons, coloring books, and activities chosen for a specific age and gender. These boxes bring joy and a much-needed distraction to children in hospitals. To learn more about the project, visit
The Jared Box Project.

Be sure to pick up your box and instructions at our next pack meeting. Let's make a difference together!

Pack Meeting — December 10th

Join us for a fun-filled Year-End Celebration outside by the Eagle's Nest fire pit, delicious s’mores, and hot cocoa to enjoy with your fellow scouts and families. It’s the perfect way to reflect on all the memories we’ve made this year and to look forward to the exciting adventures ahead. Be sure to bring your appetite for treats and your Scout spirit! We look forward to seeing everyone there for an evening of fun, laughter, and camaraderie.

Sign Up — Super Trip 2025

Mark your calendars! Our Super Trip to the Kaleideum in Winston-Salem is coming up on March 22, 2025. This exciting overnight adventure is $48 per scout and $20 per adult. You can use Scoutbook money to cover the cost! Payments Due by January 14, 2024.

While we're there, scouts will work on adventure achievements specific to their ranks, with time to explore the museum after hours. Here’s what each rank will focus on:

  • Lion/Tiger: Sky is the Limit
  • Wolf: Digging into the Past
  • Bear: Super Science
  • Webelos/AOL: Earth Rocks

Keep an eye out for a Sign-Up Genius link in the coming weeks. This is one trip you won’t want to miss!
*** Though our AOLs will have already "crossed over" to the troop by then, you're still warmly encouraged to join us for this final Cub Scout event! It’s a great chance to reconnect with friends and celebrate your Scouting journey together.
