The Cub Scout Motto: Do Your Best!

CUBBY NOTES

September 23, 2025

Den Meeting
This Tuesday 9/23/2025 (all except AOL’s)
MUMC @ 6:30

Cubmaster Notes:

AOL’s – see you tonight for meeting with Troop 39 at 7 pm in the Eagle’s Nest. Wear full class A uniform. This is your first chance to meet the troop and their leadership as you prepare to crossover in the Spring.

Popcorn – another successful weekend. Thanks to everyone for filling up the open shifts. And a special shout out to Chase Petty for running extra popcorn to locations as we sold out.

If you have not yet sold Popcorn, we need everyone to fill their required two shifts (or pay an opt out fee). We could be completely finished in the next 1-2 weekends.

Sign up for Cub O’Ree! We could use a couple of adult volunteers to help with set up and meal preparation onsite, as well as coordination of field games. Let Chris or Heath know if interested.

Popcorn Show and Sell:

We've had successful four weekends of sales!! Thanks to all of the families that helped our Pack!  We expect that each Scout can cover their commitment this year in 2 shifts. Our Pack's goal is the complete popcorn sales by the Cub O'Ree, but it will likely be sooner. If your scout has not completed their required shifts before we meet our goal and we halt the fundraiser for the year, these families will be required to pay the opt out fee.
Upcoming Shifts:

Saturday – 9/27: Sam's Club and Blackhawk Hardware
Sunday – 9/28: Sam's Club and Blackhawk Hardware

All of the important information related to popcorn sales this year can be found by clicking here.
