Den meetings tonight!

Everyone including Lions will meet tonight in the commons room of MUMC 6:30pm

Religious Emblems 

Pack 214 is offering the God and Me / God and Family classes for any boy who is interested in earning the religious emblems awards.

The God and Me course is for grades 1-3. This class will be held on Sunday afternoons from 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM in room 152. David Platts will be facilitating this course.
The God and Family course is for grades 4-5. This class will be held on Sunday afternoons from 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM room is TBD.
Jeannine McIntyre will be facilitating this course.

The courses are planning to begin on Sunday, October 28th.

We must have at least 2 participants. The two-deep leadership rules still apply, so we ask that parents remain with their child.

If you are interested in your son participating, please sign-up sheet at the Den Meeting on tonight.

NOVA Awards Teacher Workday Fieldtrip

We are having 2 back-to-back science classes led by the center's naturalists. The topics are weather and woodland wildlife. The programs will help finish out Nova Wild requirements. The $5.OO cost per student covers student to attend both classes! Bring a bagged lunch and be prepared for a short hike, weather permitting.  Siblings as always are welcome! We will meet at Large Shelter #2

We will be sleeping on board the USS Yorktown!!  Not only do you get to explore the USS Yorktown, but you also get to see all the other Patriots Point exhibits! Step back in time with the Vietnam Experience Exhibit, climb aboard an unsinkable WWII destroyer, and squeeze your way through a Cold War submarine. If that was not enough for this fun filled weekend our young aviators must protect our nation’s security against enemy combatants using cutting-edge flight simulators in the new Flight Academy aboard the USS YORKTOWN. We will also view many historic sites and military forts on Charleston Harbor, from the water, while learning about the impact this area had on the development of the United States.

Want to be involved in a program with cool activities, exposure to science, technology, engineering and mathematics designed for Cub Scouts.   Well then Nova Awards is the program for you.
Join us once a month on Sunday for a hour filled with fun and learning.
